Founded in Buenos Aires in 2012, Agenda Antártica is a policy-oriented NGO, think tank, and knowledge platform dedicated to the protection of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean. We operate at the intersection of science, governance, and education — producing peer-reviewed research, engaging with international policy forums, and building civil society awareness from a Latin American perspective. For us, protecting Antarctica also means protecting something rare: a global model of peaceful international cooperation.
